Veterinary Assistant

I've been working at Guelph Street Animal Hospital since July 2017 part-time, while also being a full-time veterinary student at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. I will be graduating from OVC in 2020 and am hoping to get into small animal emergency medicine or small animal neurology, since those are where my passions lie. Home for me is Houston, Texas and I currently have four pets -- three cats and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy named Aya.

Veterinary Assistant

Alicia went to Northern College and graduated from Veterinary Assistant as well as the Grooming program. Alicia started working at Guelph Street Animal Hospital in October 2017. She shares her home with her dog Norm, and fish Garfield.

Veterinary Assistant

Andrea began working at GSAH in October 2017 as a receptionist/veterinary assistant. Well not working she is studying at the Ontario Veterinary College as a second year student, or riding her horse Ginger and playing with her dog Bella!

Hello! My name is Gabby. You will most likely see me at the front reception, working in the back with the doctors or cuddling with our patients. I am a student in my final year at Seneca College, currently enrolled in the Veterinarian Technician program. Since I can remember, I've always wanted to work in the veterinary field. I grew up on a small farm in Bolton raising everything from chickens and rabbits to retired dairy cows and sheep. I was persistent in the idea to go to school to be a vet, however when I attended a career fair in high school I discovered my true calling as a Vet Tech. Today, myself and my boyfriend Colin, have 3 shelter cats named Batman (Bruce), Talia and Kia, with the intention to adopt many more animals into our home. I strive to do everything I can for our clients and patients and I make it my mission to see everyone leave with a smile on their face. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members!

Clinic Cat

Official Clinic Cat

My name is Buddy. I am the official clinic cat. I joined the team in December 2014 and been in charge ever since! If I’m not greeting you at the front desk, you can find me “doing paperwork” in my cat house or testing food samples in the back.
