Veterinary Technicians

Veterinary Technician

I have graduated from Northern College as a veterinary technician as well as the Grooming program on April 2018 and have started working for Dr.Salhan since May 2018. I've always had a passion for animals ever since I was a little girl and my passion has just grown over the years. I could never figure out what I wanted to be and then I learned about being a technician and I fell in love with it! I will be getting my R very soon to become an RVT as well. I have 2 dogs of my own named Toopie and Bella and 2 chinchillas named Shadow and Casper.

Veterinary Assistants

Veterinary Assistant

I've been working at Guelph Street Animal Hospital since July 2017 part-time, while also being a full-time veterinary student at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. I will be graduating from OVC in 2020 and am hoping to get into small animal emergency medicine or small animal neurology, since those are where my passions lie. Home for me is Houston, Texas and I currently have four pets -- three cats and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy named Aya.

Veterinary Assistant

Alicia went to Northern College and graduated from Veterinary Assistant as well as the Grooming program. Alicia started working at Guelph Street Animal Hospital in October 2017. She shares her home with her dog Norm, and fish Garfield.

Veterinary Assistant

Hey! My name is Nicole.
I am a vet assistant at Guelph Street Animal Hospital. I am currently a student at the University of Guelph, studying Wildlife Biology and Conservation. In the future I would like to start up my own wildlife rehabilitation center, to provide care for injured animals.
I am passionate about all animals, from scales to fur, but adore birds, especially the puffin. I have one dog, a 6 year old, border collie named Dakota. She loves swimming at the beach and belly rubs.

Veterinary Assistant

Hi everyone! I just started working at GSAH fall 2018 and I’m excited to meet all of you and your furry friends! Animals have always been my passion, so right now I’m in my third year of Animal Biology at UoG – my goal is to study at the OVC and join the amazing profession that is veterinary medicine! When I’m not studying, I’m usually at a barn, or hanging out at home working on some art in the company of my cat Titus (who evidently hates having his picture taken), and his most desired snack – my hamster Loofah

Veterinary Assistant

Hi there, I am Abigaile. I have a big passion for all animals of different shapes and sizes. I have always loved dogs and cats, so I deiced to take my passion and turn it into a career. I have a honors certificate in Animal Care from Sheridan College and am continuing my educations at University. In my spare time I also show cattle and work along side with horses.

Clinic Cat

Official Clinic Cat

My name is Buddy. I am the official clinic cat. I joined the team in December 2014 and been in charge ever since! If I’m not greeting you at the front desk, you can find me “doing paperwork” in my cat house or testing food samples in the back.
