Dr. Jasvir Salhan


Dr. Salhan graduated from Veterinary College in India in 1998. He started his career as Veterinary officer with the Indian Military Farm. He worked with Military dogs and cross bred cows for five years. Dr. Salhan worked as a research technician in Cancog Technologies Inc. (Fergus) before getting his License. He attended Ontario Veterinary College, for Veterinary Skills Training and Enhancement program (VSTEP) in 2008. He has worked in clinics such as - North Town Veterinary Hospital (Brampton), Kingston Road Animal Hospital, Toronto South Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Cat Hospital of Mississauga. He has special interests in dentistry, emergency medicine, neurology and surgery. He enjoys his spare time with his wife Sundeep and his 2 sons 8 year old Amrit and 2 year old Shabad. Dr. Salhan has a 13 year old Dalmatian named Jimmy.

Dr. Harnoor Bhinder

Dr. Bhinder is our new Veterinarian. He graduated in 2013 from Veterinary College in India. After graduation, he joined a Veterinary clinic in India for 1 year, where he worked with cows, dogs and cats. He attended Ontario Veterinary College, for Veterinary Skills Training and enhancement program (VSTEP) in 2016. Dr. Bhinder did his field placement at Guelph Street Animal Hospital and obtained his license to practice in December 2016. He is excited to start his career with the team at Guelph Street Animal Hospital

Jamie is a Registered Veterinary Technician, she graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Sheridan college in April 2012 with honors She has been working at Guelph Street Animal Hospital since we opened in the summer of 2012. She is also an PRN working at Brampton Civic Hospital in the Oncology/Palliative department. She has an a 8 year old cat named Buster.

Christie attended the University of Guelph and has a Masters degree in Animal Physiology and Reproduction. She graduated in August 2016 with honors. Christie started working at Guelph Street Animal Hospital in December 2016. She has a 5 year old cat named Carlton.

My name is Buddy. I am the official clinic cat. I joined the team in December 2014 and been in charge ever since! If I’m not greeting you at the front desk, you can find me “doing paperwork” in my cat house or testing food samples in the back.
